Club Trophies

Here is a selection of Bentley Drivers Club NSW trophies with a small description of the purpose of each trophy.

The "Best of Day - Bentley Motors" trophy

Awarded for the best looking Bentley at the most recent concours

Current Recipient:  Mr. John L - 1924 3 Ltr Blue Label

The "George Green - Club Spirit" trophy

Awarded to the member who is considered to have displayed

the most club spirit throughout the year

Current Recipient:  Mr. Jerome B - for his hard work and

dedication in creating the Bentley Drivers Club NSW Magazine

and in updating the BDC NSW Region website

The "Peter Wilkie - Personal Care" trophy

Donated by Elizabeth Champion in memory of her late husband.

Awarded to the member who has put significant effort into the upkeep

and restoration of their Bentley

Current Recipient:  Mr. John L - for all the attention and time he has given

to restoring his 1924 Blue Label 3 Ltr

The "Ladies Choice" trophy

Awarded for the best looking Bentley as judged by the ladies at

the most recent concours

Current Recipient:  Mr. Bryan I - 2007 Continental GTC

The "Picnic " Plaque

Awarded for the best picnic at a club event throughout the year

Accepted by Syd R on the night

Current Recipient:  Mrs. Eileen J

The "Metcalf " Shield

Awarded for significant contribution to the club by a female member

throughout the year

Current Recipient:  Ms. Coralie O - for her enthusiasm & all her efforts on the

committee over the last few years

The "Auto Salon D'Elegance" Trophy                                           

Awarded for the most beautiful car at the concours as judged by guest judges  

Current Recipient:  Mr. Robert M - for his 1939 4&1/4 Ltr Derby

The "Best in Class" Concours Awards

Awarded for the car considered Best in Class by the club judges at

the most recent club concours event

Class A - Vintage:  Mr. Syd R - 1929 Speed Six.

Class B - Derby:  Mr. Kevin R - 1936 4&1/4 Ltr.

Class C - Mark VI & R:  Christian (John) L - 1951 Mark VI

Class D - S Types:  Mr. Peter M - 1964 S3

Class E - T Types:  Joe Q - 1975 T1

Class F - Modern:  Mr. Allan S - 2006 Continental GT

Class G - PW Coach:  Mr. Victor N - 1948 Mk VI Park Ward DHC
