Photos from the Day.....
Here are some photos which appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald website on April 16th, 2007 which showed off some of our members cars. You can see Jerome's S3 on the left, Keith's Continental in the middle and Damian's Turbo R on the right.

The photo above also appeared on page 5 of the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper on Monday April 16th 2007. Click on the button below to get the newspaper article.
This photo below shows our Club President (Bob) having a glass of wine whilst putting away a few things in the back of his S1. Note the keen desire to drink the wine whilst also shutting the boot at the same time - excellent priorities! You can also see Robert's beautiful 3 Ltr, and Graeme's magnificent 3 & 1/2 Ltr
SMH Photo 2:

And lastly (see below) a very artistic photo of a Whippet dog, jumping up on a woman's legs (not sure if they are stockings or pants) and Jerome's Bentley S3 in the background.

And below, please browse through some of the photos taken by club members on the day....
A lineup of some of the cars on the day. Note the large transport in the background for the Polo horses
A polo player takes a drink...
The mound where our tents were assembled....
Once our tents were assembled, we could start to enjoy the game....
At half time, we all pitched in for some divot stomping...
Another lineup of our cars....
Incredibly, a short rainstorm blew through the grounds for about 10 minutes. We all held onto our tents and umbrellas. You can see Graeme below getting into the spirit of things...."a few rain spots never hurt anybody!"
Australia beat Chile by 2 goals....it was a close match....at the end of the match, two of our members (Syd and Robert) were invited to drive both teams around the circuit for all those attending to applaud both teams.
Robert had the honour of Transporting the Chilean team in his 3 Ltr....
Whilst Syd had the honour of transporting the winning Australian team in his newly acquired 1929 Bentley Speed Six (Le Mans)....
Off both cars went down the sidelines being applauded by the spectators...
....and a final shot of Syd racing accross the field in his Speed Six......he is definitely having fun.....lucky man!
