Time: From 12 noon

Come and join us for the first BDC run for 2009 at the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park at Bobbin Head.

Entry is from either Bobbin Head Rd or Ku-ring-gai Chase Rd. There is an $11 entry fee per car, and it is a pleasant drive through natural bush to the Bobbin Head Picnic area.

We have hired Section 1 of the Station, a shaded area with a table, seats and barbecue. But there is also plenty of grass to have a picnic.

David Rose has kindly agreed to bring his boat along, so there will be a cruise before lunch, and again after lunch.

Other activities:

Ø       a tour of the Empire Marina with its state-of-the-art 50 tonne travelift

Ø       walk the Mangrove Boardwalk behind the picnic area - see the mangroves without getting muddy feet

Ø       ride in another Bentley around to Apple Tree Bay and back

Ø       enjoy a coffee, or more, at the cafe on the Marina
