Those who could find it met at Joadja, a ghost town on private property 35Km west of Mittagong in the Southern Highlands.

 

This isolated place was once a thriving self sufficient community extracting shale oil and converting it into many products for use at home and abroad.

We were entertained with a string quartet as we enjoyed our Yuletide dinner on Saturday night.

 

And a good time was had by all.

 

On Sunday morning we met at Miles and Jane's for breakfast.

 

And we finished with a tour of the shed.
