Sunday 30th March 2008 - International Polo Test - Australia Vs New Zealand

When: Sunday 30th March, from 10.30am
Where: Windsor Polo Club, Old Kurrajong Road, North Richmond
Entry: $20.00 per adult (say you’re with the BDC), kids under 15 free
Played in more than 80 countries worldwide – the “Game of Kings” is coming to Windsor Polo Club. Acknowledged as the oldest team sport in the world, Polo combines strategy and skill with thrilling speed and powerful beasts. Enjoy the excitement of seeing players on thoroughbred horses bumping and jostling with each other, racing at top speeds down the field while striking a small ball with the precision of an experienced golfer.
The Polo is always a popular event for our Club with over 50 members and guests attending last year in their Bentleys, some of which featured in the Sydney Morning Herald! Two of our members were called on to drive the teams around the grounds in their Bentleys at the end of the game.
Bring along a picnic, some bubbly, your tables and chairs and anything else you require. We have booked 2 Fieldside Car parks where we can erect our 4 Club Marquees to provide shade for 50+ people. The charge for these car parks will be spread across attendees on the day.
So wear your hat, sunnies and sunscreen, and come along and stomp some divots and enjoy a day in the fresh country air!
