Photos from the Day.....
A beautiful photo of some of the cars lined up on the day. The photo was taken from the rear deck of the house. There was a wide array of different types of Bentley's on the day. A 1926 "3 Ltr", two 1929 "Speed Sixes", three "Derby" Bentley's, one "Mark VI", one "S2", two "S3", one "S3 Continental MPW Coupe, 2 T series, one Corniche, one Continental, one Eight, one Brooklands and one Continental GTC.
Our illustrious club president (Bob) looks on as many members vote on winners in each of the concours classes. It was great to have each of the members vote on who they thought was best in class.....we will all hear the results at our Christmas Club Dinner. Notice the three WO's in the background (Syd's, Robert's, Max's)......fantastic to see these old cars being actively used in the club.
It was great to see two new members bring their cars. Firstly, here is Rod M's Bentley Eight looking magnificent in the sunlight....
.....and secondly, here is Jay A's Mark VI, which was in impeccable condition. Several club members had a good look over the car with Jay and were envious at his recent purchase. The car has new leather, carpets, wood, and a respray - all of which are of a very high standard.
We had a great lunch thanks to Elizabeth and Roger (our hosts for the event). Some members seen below chatting about their WO's.
And Bob thanked all the club members for attending what was a very successful day, whilst Coralie thanked our wonderful hosts (Elizabeth and Roger) for staging the event at their property.....and of course thanks go to Coralie (standing up on the chair in the photo below) for helping to co-ordinate the event.
